The usual weekend market I visit is Sidcor Market at Centris Walk and stumbling upon a new one at MUNI Market Day is exciting! I’m quite surprised that it’s been on it’s third year and led me thinking, where have I been?
It’s happening on March 28, 2015 at Capitol Commons where different sellers will be showing off their organic products for those looking for a healthier and more sustainable options in their lifestyle.
I’m very happy to know that Greens Vegetarian Restaurant and Cafe will be there since I’ve been a loyal customer for more than a decade now, oh especially their honest to goodness barbecue, making my mouth water right now.I haven’t tried Leaf Kitchen but come on that good looking strawberry simply got me at face value!
Now this one I would love to see since I love wines and all that. Minimalist and functional wine and liquor holders or servers, that’s certainly a handicraft worth checking.
Destilleria Limtuaco will be there too and their Manille liquor certainly reminded me of Aguardiente from Colombia so hopefully they’ll have other new variety of liquor to choose from.
But if you’re looking not only for delectable eats and good drinks, there are going to be workshops on Urban Farming by Bahay Kubo Organics, Plant-based Nutrition by The Superfood Grocer, Vegan / Gluten-Free Cooking by Jertie’s Kitchen and Indoor Planting by The Green House Project.
The musicians playing there will definitely add to the sunny, summer ambiance of Capitol Commons such as Ton Vergel De Dios and A Problem Like Maria.
Most likely I’m bringing my family and my dog for a fun day out at Muni Market Day!
