Pound by Todd English is an industrial design restaurant at Vertis Mall. This restaurant in Quezon City has that sophisticated ambiance but their food doesn’t break your budget. If you’re looking for a new restaurant that serves good burgers, Pound by Todd English, is a good place to dine. Their menu is quite simple with burgers, fries, pasta and wine.
If you want something different, they have a Secret Burger that you can ask the waiter. The beef patty doesn’t scrimp on the size and isn’t dry. It’s served with crunchy french fries with ketchup.
T.E. Crispy Chicken Burger (Php225) are two sliders made of crispy chicken patty topped with crispy pickled slaw, cilantro aioli and brioche bun. If you want the best of both worlds, you can order a sampler called Pound for Pound (Php195) which has two sliders, one T.E. Slider and one T.E. Crispy Chicken Slider.
They also have healthier options like salads. Try their Caesar Salad (Php170) which has fresh romaine lettuce, croutons, egg, anchovy and creamy caesar dressing .
They also have a rice dish, the Sizzling Pound Moco (Php180), a rice topping served with a juicy beef patty with delicious gravy topped with sunny side up egg on a hot plate.
If you’re craving for pasta, they have Caramelized Bacon Alfredo (Php130/Php150) with al dente pasta in creamy white sauce with candied pork belly bits. If you prefer red sauce, they have Pound Pomodoro (Php80/Php250) with al dente pasta in tangy pomodoro sauce with roasted garlic and garlic herbed bread crumbs. We love their Truffle Fries (Php160) which is crunchy seasoned house cut fries dipped in truffle oil and truffle ketchup.
Surprisingly for a burger joint, they serve wine too in cute small bottles. They have Fortant Cabernet Sauvignon (Php270) and Beringer Zinfandel (Php270). For Pound by Todd English’s complete menu, visit Booky.
